Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and to follow the accessibility principles in India’s Guidelines for Indian Government Websites as good practice.
What we’ve done
- Light and dark themes, with readable contrast in both.
- Animations, including the intro, respect your device’s “reduce motion” setting and can be skipped.
- Every page works with a keyboard, has a logical heading structure and descriptive link text.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- The layout adapts to phones, tablets and large screens and supports browser zoom up to 200%.
Known limitations
Some charts are visual summaries; their key figures are also written in the text. We are continuing to test with screen readers and will fix issues as we find them.
