1. Who we are
This website, dahmion.com, is operated by DAHMION TECHNOLOGIES (“DAHMION”, “we”, “us”), a micro enterprise registered under the Government of India’s Udyam (MSME) scheme, based in Delhi, India. We act as the data fiduciary (controller) for personal data collected through this website and in running our business. When we handle personal data on behalf of a client — for example, a client’s customer list in their CRM — we act as a data processor under that client’s instructions and our written agreement.
2. What this policy covers
This website, our emails, calls and messages with prospective and current clients, job applicants, and people who contact us. It does not cover third-party websites we link to, or platforms such as Google, Meta, LinkedIn or Instagram, which have their own policies.
3. Personal data we collect
- Information you give us: name, company, work email, phone number, country, the brief or message you send, and anything else you choose to share when you email, call or message us.
- Job applicants: CV, portfolio links, work samples and the details in your application.
- Clients: contact details of the people we work with, billing details (company name, address, GST or tax number) and contract records.
- Chat enquiries: if you send an enquiry through the website assistant — name, email, optional phone and company, your request, the chat conversation, the page you were on and your approximate city and country.
- Technical data: aggregated, anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, approximate country, device type, referrer). We do not build profiles of individual visitors.
4. The contact form
The brief form on our contact page does not send or store anything on our servers. It formats your brief inside your own browser so you can copy it or open it in your email app. We only receive it if you choose to send it to us.
4a. The website assistant (chat)
The “Ask DAHMION” chat answers questions about our services using an AI model. What you type in the chat is sent to Google’s Gemini service to generate the answer; we don’t use it for anything else and don’t store chat messages unless you send us an enquiry. If you fill in the enquiry form in the chat, we receive your name, email, optional phone and company, what you need, and the chat conversation, so a strategist can reply. Please don’t type sensitive personal information (such as health, financial or ID details) into the chat.
5. Why we use personal data (and our legal basis)
- To reply to enquiries and prepare proposals — with your consent, given when you contact us, and for the legitimate purpose of responding to you.
- To deliver services under a contract with you or your company.
- To send invoices, keep accounting records and meet tax and legal obligations under Indian law.
- To assess job applications you send us.
- To keep our website secure and understand, in aggregate, how it is used.
- We do not sell personal data, rent it, or use it for automated decision-making that affects you.
6. Cookies and similar technology
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookie-less. Your browser stores two small preferences — your light/dark theme choice and whether you have already seen the intro animation. See our Cookie Policy for details.
7. Who we share data with
- Service providers that help us run the business — for example website hosting and security (Cloudflare), email and document tools, accounting and payment providers — only as far as needed, under confidentiality obligations.
- Fonts: this website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser’s IP address is shared with Google when the page loads.
- Website assistant: chat messages are processed by Google (Gemini API) to generate answers. Enquiries sent through the chat are stored with Cloudflare and delivered to our inbox by Resend (an email delivery service).
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where necessary.
- Authorities, when required by law, court order or to protect our legal rights.
- Within the DAHMION group (including our creator marketplace, Marqueiver) only where it is needed to deliver a service you asked for.
8. International transfers
We are based in India and some of our service providers process data in other countries. Where we transfer personal data outside India, we do so as permitted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. For clients and individuals in the UK or European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.
9. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t become projects (including chat enquiries): up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client contracts, invoices and tax records: for as long as Indian tax and company law requires (generally 8 years).
- Job applications: up to 12 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
10. How we protect it
Access is limited to the people who need it, accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and the website is served only over encrypted HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure; if a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
11. Your rights
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correct, complete or update it.
- Ask us to erase it, where we no longer need it or you withdraw consent.
- Withdraw consent at any time — this doesn’t affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
- Raise a grievance with us, and if unresolved, complain to the Data Protection Board of India. UK and EU residents may also complain to their local data protection authority.
- To use any of these rights, email hello@dahmion.com. We respond within 30 days.
12. Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Grievance Officer
In line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, questions or complaints about how we handle personal data can be sent to our Grievance Officer at hello@dahmion.com. We acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days (the law allows up to 30).
14. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the website or emailed to clients.
